The placements for the year 2019 for IIM Ahmedabad (IIM-A)’s one-year postgraduate programme in management for executives (PGPX) again saw the information technology (IT) sector emerge as the top paymaster — the industry offered a maximum package in terms of maximum earning potential (MEP) of Rs 60 lakh per annum to a student, while the median annual salary offered was Rs 30 lakh.
