ePGD-ABA Admissions
The ePost Graduate Diploma in Advanced Business Analytics (ePGD-ABA) at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) is designed for working professionals looking to enhance their skills in business analytics, machine learning, and data driven decision-making. Who Can Apply?
The ePost Graduate Diploma in Advanced Business Analytics (ePGD-ABA) offered by IIMA is designed to equip working professionals with the knowledge and skills to seek professional growth and career advancement in the frontier areas of applied analytics.
The following are the Basic Eligibility Criteria for admission to the programme:
- Bachelor's degree holders with strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of 2 years' work experience (preferably in the domain of business analytics); the experience criterion may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional academics/professional qualifications in a relevant field and
- A valid test score (CAT/GATE/GMAT/GRE or the ePGD-ABA qualifying-cum-aptitude test).
The expected cut-off for the below tests is as follows:

Admission Process
Applicants can submit their applications online at: https://epgd-aba.iima.ac.in/
Application to the ePGD-ABA programme is a two-step process-
1. Online registration
2. Submit the duly filled online application
The online application form has four important sections:
1. General Information: Information such as personal details and standardised test score details are to be mentioned in this section. Documents to be uploaded in this section are- the latest photograph and the valid score sheet of a standardised test i.e. GMAT, GRE, CAT or GATE.
2. Educational Qualifications: Applicants should mention all their educational qualifications from bachelor’s degree onwards in this section. Documents to be uploaded in this section are- transcripts of all the academic credentials mentioned in the application form.
3. Employment Details: All the details about the current and previous employers are to be mentioned in this section. Documents to be uploaded in this section are- for the current employment section, the offer letter indicating the date of joining and the latest payslip and for the previous employer’s work experience letters/service certificate or the first and last payslips.
4. Statement of Purpose: A Statement of Purpose (SOP) highlighting your future goals and ambitions is to be written in this section. A scanned or digital signature has to upload for this section.
Applications that are complete in all aspects will only be evaluated for being progressed to the next step of the admission process. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the online interview process.
Admission Test & Waiver
Stage 1
Candidates can apply to the programme with a valid GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE score. In case the candidate doesn't have a valid GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE score, they can apply through the ePGD-ABA qualifying-cum-aptitude test.
Qualifying-cum-Aptitude Test for those who do not have GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE score:
This test is expected to be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration and will comprise three sections:
- (i) English comprehension(Click here for sample questions)
- (ii) Logical reasoning and data interpretation(Click here for sample questions)
- (iii) Quantitative aptitude(Click here for sample questions)
- (iv) Analytical Proficiency Test for all applicants(Click here for sample questions)
Analytical Proficiency Test for all applicants
All applicants are required to take the Analytical Proficiency Test. The test is expected to be of 1 hour duration and will comprise the topics related to basic analytics/mathematics/statistics/data visualization of 10th/12th standards of Central Board of Secondary Education.
The tests will be conducted online in a device-to-device mode.
Stage 2: Personal Interview:
The shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interviews. The interviews will be conducted online over the Zoom.
Final Selection: Successful candidates will be intimated through email.
