India Gold Policy Center (IGPC) at IIMA shall organize its fourth annual Gold & Gold Markets Conference at Ravi J Mathai Auditorium, IIM Ahmedabad. The objective of the Conference is to facilitate interaction among academia, policy makers, and other key stakeholders.

Topic of research has to be of policy significance related to any segment within the value chain. Some of the identified topics (but not limited to) for the conference are:

Research summary: October 30, 2020
Draft of Research Paper: January 25, 2021
Research summary should be in range of 2000 to 2500 words with very clearly stated research problem, methodology and with proper referencing. It should be submitted by 30th October 2020.
The committee would select only 10 promising proposals for the conference. This will be followed up by a one on one call to discuss the topic and guide the researchers wherever they need assistance.
On presentation of the paper at the conference, the presenters go back with the feedback to re-work on the same, and submit it to IGPC by 31st May 2021.
The awards committee will select the best of the 10 papers for a cash prize of Rs. 250,000. The cash prize is sponsored by the Multi Commodity Exchange of India. The prize will be given in the subsequent conference that is February 2022.
