The Centre for Transportation and Logistics (CTL), IIMA, is pleased to announce a month- long online & Capacity-Building Workshop on Advanced Methods for Transportation and Logistics Research and Practice'. The workshop aims to equip students, research scholars, and practitioners with cutting-edge skills and knowledge of advanced research methods that have wide applications in the domain of transportation, logistics, and supply chain management. It will provide hands-on experience with designing and implementing travel behavior surveys and experiments and develop expertise in choice modeling, analytical models, and optimization. The workshop will be conducted by a team of experienced IIMA faculty members. Classes will be held every Friday throughout August 2024.

Mode: Online sessions conducted via Zoom  
Please note that participation in the workshop is subject to fulfilling the following prerequisites:
Interest in learning software with minimal coding

•  Basic programming and mathematics competency is necessary
•  Familiarity in linear programming and statistical analysis
•  Participants must have access to a working computer with Excel solver installed
•  The program will be offered free of cost to selected candidates.
•  A workshop participation certificate will be given subject to meeting academic requirements.
•  Attending all sessions is mandatory to receive the certificate.

Upon receiving the application, a preliminary screening will be conducted, and only selected participants will be notified and provided with the workshop's online Zoom link. 

The workshop is designed for:

- Graduate and postgraduate students in transportation and logistics.
- Academicians, early-career researchers, and doctoral scholars.
- Domain practitioners seeking to update their research skills in this domain.
