Promila Agarwal

Biography

Promila Agarwal is Associate Professor at IIMA. She joined IIMA in the year 2013. She is primary member of HRM Area and secondary member of Strategy Area. Before joining IIMA she worked with Ernst & Young. She is also involved with several disruptive startups in designing business models.

Promila’s consulting expertise lies in the area of Leadership Development, Leadership Capability building, HRM audit, cultural audit, Psychometrics and Psychological Assessment, HR Transformation, HR Due Diligence, Organization Design and Structuring, and cost minimization, Performance Management Systems, Change Management, and Employee Engagement. She has handled client in the following industries/sector: Automobile, Cement, Telecom, Banking, Information Technology, FMCG, and conglomerate. She has worked on key projects of government such as Seventh pay Commission.

Promila has both national and international publications to her credit in prestigious journals such as Human Resource Management Journal, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Business research to name a few. Her research interest includes High-performance work systems, Dark Triad Personality, Resource theories, well-being, and Employee Engagement.
