IIM Ahmedabad alumni pledge infrastructure funding support to the institute

IIM Ahmedabad alumni Raghunandan G, Vishwavir Ahuja and Aprameya R have pledged infrastructure funding support to their Alma mater, the Institute said in a statement on Wednesday. 

Conservation/restoration and upgrade of the classroom in the Heritage Campus is being supported by RBL Bank, of which Vishwavir Ahuja (PGP 1981)is the MD & CEO. 

“RBL has significantly benefited from the quality education imparted at IIMA through several IIMA Alumni in the senior management team. RBL has always focused on excellence in the banking industry and is delighted to make a contribution of Rs 2.5 Crore for shared vision to support education excellence at IIMA” said Vishwavir Ahuja. 

At IMDC in IIMA New Campus, upgradation to state-of-art facility and maintenance is being supported by Raghunandan G and Aprameya R (PGP 2007 & 2008; both co-founders of TaxiForSure) with funding of Rs 2.5 crore each. 

“Graduating from IIMA, opened doors for us through our entrepreneurial journey. Giving back to our alma mater was top of the agenda as we consolidated our venture. We want to facilitate the creation of state-of-art facility at CR2 IMDC in IIMA to support Institute’s focus on excellence in teaching & training the change agents in enterprises” said Raghunandan G and Aprameya R. 

“Alumni are a source of strength for the institute. They contribute in many different ways to support the Institute’s priorities. IIMA deeply values their meaningful and significant contributions” said Prof Ashish Nanda, Director IIMA.
