Theme: "Catalysing Innovation - Start-up Ecosystem and Policy Research"
The Centre of Management of Health Services (CMHS) and IIMA Healthcare Alumni Special Interest Group (SIG) are gearing up for the first edition of the IIMA Healthcare Summit, scheduled to be held at the IIMA Campus on 05th August 2023. With the theme "Catalysing Innovation - Start-up Ecosystem and Policy Research", this event promises to be a game-changer in the healthcare industry.
The summit will feature two tracks, each focused on a crucial aspect of healthcare innovation. Track 1, "Healthcare Start-up Ecosystem", will be conducted by the Healthcare SIG, while Track 2, "Policy Research", will be conducted by CMHS. To be a part of this summit, please register yourself here.
One of the highlights of the summit will be the Healthcare Start-up Ecosystem track, which will comprise two Panel Discussions and a competition for Healthcare Start-ups. The competition will encompass three groups - established start-ups, early-stage start-ups, and concept-stage start-ups from students. The invited start-ups will be provided with a platform to showcase their innovative work, and awards will be presented to the top two start-ups in each category, recognizing their potential. Applications to participate in the start-up competition are invited by filling a Google form here.
Prior to the summit, there will be an Annual Meeting planned exclusively for the Healthcare SIG Members, comprising over 200 active alumni members with valuable healthcare sector experience. This meeting will serve as a platform to review past achievements and set objectives for the upcoming year. In the past, the Healthcare SIG has successfully conducted two start-up events in Bombay, which received an overwhelming response, and TiE Mumbai has been a valuable partner for these events.
The IIMA Healthcare Summit is envisioned to be an annual event that garners recognition as a Must-Go-To event in India. The summit aims to receive support from healthcare associations, start-ups, and academic and research institutions, creating a conducive environment for collaboration and innovation in the healthcare sector.
With its distinctive agenda, esteemed speakers, and participation from prominent stakeholders, the IIMA Healthcare Summit is poised to be a milestone event that catalyzes innovation, fosters partnerships, and shapes the future of healthcare in India.
