Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show on January 09, 2024 in Gandhinagar, setting the stage for the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024. Held from January 09 to January 13 at the Helipad Ground Exhibition Centre, the Trade Show aimed to foster networking and knowledge-sharing among diverse industries and business sectors. Spanning an expansive two lakh square metres, the exhibition centred around themes such as 'Make in Gujarat' and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat.’
The event attracted participation from 20+ countries, each showcasing their industries, with notable attendees including the President of Timor Leste, José Ramos-Horta, and the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, along with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
Organized into 12 distinct areas of focus, including E-mobility, Smart Infrastructure, and Services & Sustainable Agriculture, the exhibition underscored India's commitment to self-reliance and innovation, serving as a platform for international collaboration.
With a particular focus on service sectors, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad represented the ‘Knowledge Economy’ sector, showcasing its academic programs and research centres. The NSE Centre for Behavioral Science utilized the platform to demonstrate its use of behavioral insights and neuro-modalities in solving diverse business challenges, attracting keen interest from visitors, exhibitors, and the media.
The Centre's live demonstrations of equipment, including eye-tracking and EEG systems, were well-received, with Professor Bharat Bhasker, the Director of IIMA, actively participating in the eye-tracking demonstration. Visitors had the opportunity to experience the Tobii Pro Glasses 3 and engage with the Centre’s EEG system, furthering their understanding of behavioral science applications.
The success of the event underscored a collaborative spirit and dedication to progress, with the NSE Centre for Behavioral Science expressing eagerness for future collaborations in shaping a dynamic and innovative future for Gujarat and beyond.
