September 30, 2025: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) celebrated Hindi Fortnight from September 16-30, 2025. The Institute conducted various competitions such as Hindi Poetry recitation, Hindi online general knowledge, Hindi word knowledge contest, Hindi essay writing, and Hindi calligraphy, which aimed to propagate and promote the use of Hindi as the official language.
The event commenced with self-written poetry recitation which saw enthusiastic participation from members of the IIMA community. As part of the celebrations, an exhibition of Hindi books was also organised at the Vikram Sarabhai Library of the Institute on September 29, 2025, with a view to promote interest of readers in Hindi literature.
The winners of various competitions were awarded cash prizes and certificates in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs by Colonel (Dr.) Jagdish C. Joshi (Retired), CAO, IIMA.
The Institute has consistently demonstrated its commitment to the promotion and propagation of Hindi, as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs and will continue to strengthen its efforts even further.
