Birds at IIMA
The IIMA campus is a green oasis that nurtures rich and diverse flora and fauna. Here is a portfolio of our feathered friends that call our campus home. Photographed and compiled by IIMA faculty member, Professor Ernesto Noronha, since 2020, this collection will take you through a breathtaking range of bird species that have visited the campus since then.
For bird enthusiasts who would like to delve into details, each picture is accompanied by information on each bird species, the locations on campus where they can be spotted and the months they visit the campus. This portfolio is in no way exhaustive and will always be a work in progress as we receive newer visitors every year.
Through this presentation, we hope to spread awareness and thereby contribute to the conservation of the bird species visiting our campus.
